| This was the best experience possible. Ernie and Sandy Dumas are the best hosts you could possibly ask for, warm, personable, loving, pretty much they make you feel like you are their family. They have a sign in the entrance of the house that says "Come As Strangers, Leave As Friends" and this is exactly what happened. This gorgeous house and situated among beautiful Colorado Mountains. It is a perfect location if you want to be a bit away from all the hustle and bustle of Breckenridge. The rooms were warm and cozy with a great fireplace that gave the perfect lighting for a romantic night. Great living rooms with gorgeous views of the mountains. The living room has huge windows, which are perfect for just sitting and enjoying the most colorful sunset. We hear the sunrise is quite gorgeous as well. At night... the moon is so bright, that it illuminates the mountains and the view is just unbelievably spectacular. Everything needed to give this B&B a 10 out of 10 is there, but what Sandy and Ernie do to make you feel at home can't be rated. They go way above and beyond to make you feel like part of their family. Sandy makes the most delicious breakfast every morning from heart shaped pancakes, to yummiest eggs/omelets, casseroles, smoothies, French toast. In addition every night we were treated with decadent desserts. Hot chocolate, teas, coffee, etc are available to you at any time.
The whole house has heated floors, fireplaces everywhere, our room The Wilderness room had the most beautiful fireplace, comfy four post log bed, HUGE jaccuzi tub, candles everywhere, little figurines that added so much to the room decor. Bed sheets , towels, blankets, fluffy robes smelled soooo nice and fresh. You could tell that there was so much attention to detail to make you feel comfortable, cozy and relaxed.
If you are looking for a home away from home in a great
location and a family that will take you in, then look no further.
Thank you Ernie and Sandy! |

| My group stayed in December of 2007 and the spirit of Christmas filled the air. Mountain Comfort is artfully decorated - with each room having it's own theme. "Cozy" isn't a big enough word for how you feel when you enter. From microfiber soft towels and heated bathroom floors to plush warm robes, we found the relaxation we needed after a long, cold day on the ice. Sandy & Ernie are easy, instant friends as soon as you meet them. Yet, they give you your own space and privacy, too. The food is home cooked and we found some new treats we've never had before. I've been to Hotels (not B&Bs) all over the Western Hemisphere and this is one of the most memorable accomodation experiences I've ever had. Best, Bill Greene |

| Exactly what a bed and breakfast should be! Because they designed their home to be a B&B, you have the best of both worlds – spacious, beautiful rooms, large private baths, and most importantly, wonderful hosts who make you feel like you’re family. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, with private baths and great fireplaces. The living rooms have gorgeous views of the Colorado mountains, perfect for enjoying the sunrise or sunset. And Sandy’s breakfast and evening desserts are to die for! Hot chocolate, teas, coffee, etc are always available. There was so much attention to detail to make you feel comfortable, cozy and relaxed. We were only planning to stay one evening, but we loved it so much we extended our stay. We will definitely be going back! Thank you Ernie and Sandy! |

| Our family spent christmas 2007 with Sandy and Ernie in their amazing home. We are so thankful for them for making us feel so very welcomed. This Christmas was the best ever and it was because of our stay at the mountain comfort inn. Our children loved the gingerbread room and all the games. This was an experinces we will never forget.
Hey, guys we had to buy the "risk" board game since you got the boy's hooked. We love you guys. Thank you so much. We can hardly wait for another stay. |
